Wailea Ekahi Village & Maui Resort AdventuresClick photo below to begin a slide show of our ocean front Ekahi. Keawakapu Beach (kay ah vah ka’ puh) may be the best walking and snorkeling beach on our side of the island. about 1/2 mile long - walk north and grab a cool drink at the 5 Palms Restaurant or, if you prefer a firmer surface, walk South and exit in 50 yards to the Waiea beach walk. This sidewalks run ocean front throughout the resort beginning at the former Renaissance Hotel next door, and runs south along the oceanfront for several miles. Wailea Resort also has 3 beautiful golf courses and a tennis club. Remember - the greens break to the water - even when it looks "up hill".
THINGS TO DO ON MAUI:The grounds of Ekahi are unparalled but it seems a new vision of paradise is around every corner. We often start our days with a 2 mile walk down the beach and boardwalk. On the way back we take a refreshing dip in the ocean and sometimes stop for a beachfront massage at the Renaissance Hotel. You may prefer to "veg" on the beach but for those looking to see more of this paradise try a journey to the tropical Hana coast and Seven Pools, visit Haleakala volcano for sunrise, hike the lush Iao Valley or venture to Molokini for snorkeling treats or up country to Makawow's art colony or Kula for protea farms and polo. The list goes on...January through March the whales put on a spectacular show - often visible right from our condos and the ocean front pool. The World Wind Surfing Championships are often held near the airport in Spreckelsville.
