![]() We spend lots of time here on our main lanai reading, eating and trying to identify all the birds that come to visit. I have Hawaiian bird and flower books in the condo to help you in your quest. ![]() Now with new cabinetry, granite counters, all new appliances and lots more space, our remodeled kitchen is well equipped, has a ceiling fan and great cross ventilation with views out the front door and through the dining room to the ocean. ![]() The dining room is a wonderful space with a good ocean view. The furnishings are new, including a wine rack, and ceiling fan with light(on a rheostat) making it a great spot for games as well as food. The table seats 6 easily in large chairs. The lanai table (accessed from here or the living room) also seats 6 easily. ![]() Since our kitchen remodel, the cook is now never out of touch. The breakfast bar seats two and makes a great serving area for larger parties. Don't miss the storage drawers for place mats and napkins and some nice serving pieces as well. ![]() Our living room sofa is a wrap-a-round sectional with a queen sleeper. Views of the ocean, flowers and grass are seen from the sofa looking across the lanai or thru the dining room. We also have a compfy reclining chair, 36" TV/DVD/VCR and Stereo. The cooking lanai is to the right out a sliding glass door. ![]() You can't help but smile as you walk in the front door. You are greated by a riot of color and glimpse of ocean as you look right thru the kitchen and dining room. The teak table has 2 drawers - perfect for catching keys and receipts. Our color scheme is taken from the picture hanging here... pale greens, pinks, oranges and lavendars. ![]() This is the master bath. The view of the shower makes it look a bit larger than it is. We have reconfigured and enlarged this space and now feature cross ventilation, rebuilt closet, vanity and bath. Everyone raves about the glass block walls in the shower - no messy curtain or sliding doors here. Our new carpet reminds me of sand and the bed? ![]() Larger than it looks, listen to sounds of surf from this ocean view master bedroom. Enjoy the sleep number bed on a high frame giving plenty of room for luggage under. The "kissing couple" petroglyph found on a trip to Lahaina is a favorite. Flat screen HDTV w built-in DVD. Full wall bamboo framed mirror and a thermostat for zoned A/C too. ![]() The Master bedroom lanai is perfect for afternoon sun and whale watching in season. This is also the view from the Dining Lanai. Side walls keep it very private too. If I had taken this photo more to the left, you could see Molokini. Kids love the grass. This is a short cut to the ocean front pool & beach. ![]() The remodeled bath has a pocket door and plenty of openings for light and ventilation. The walk in shower has glass etched with some of Maui's most memorable flowers and the 12" high lip means you can still use this as a tub. The dressing room has a huge closet which has been redone with plenty of space for hanging and shelving. ![]() The walled lanai off this bedroom is the perfect spot for morning sun. The twin beds are normally put together as a "short king" with proper bedding. If you ask us, we can switch them back to twins ($25 fee if you want then more than 6" apart). A flat screen TV/DVD is wall mounted. Each bedroom has its own thermostat for the A/C. ![]() This good sized hall leads from the living room to the second bedroom. A full size washer/dry, beach towels, vacuum & wall safe are located behind the sliding plantation shutter doors. The map is a trade mark of ours - very helpful for trip planning. The Modem and WIFI equipment and printer are on the top shelf of this unit. ![]() Ekahi has 4 pools. This one is adjacent to 20a's parking lot. The paddle tennis court is also found here, just below the pool. Maui is uphill from ocean to volcano. ![]() 20A is a level, 1-2 minute walk from Ekahi's ocean front pool. Views here are breathtaking and range from the West Maui Mountains, south past the islands of Lanai and Kahoolawe and even a favorite snorkeling destination - Molokink. ![]() The pavilion at the ocean front pool offers shade, tables and easy chairs, ice and water, even a full kitchen and bath/shower/dressing rooms. A shuffle board court is adjacent. We often walk the access road from 20A to the beach front parking and re enter at this Pavilion through a locked gate. ![]() A locked gate offers private access to Keawakapu Beach from the ocean front pool. The beach is wonderful for walking, running, digging, or sunning. The soft white sand goes well out into the ocean making for easy access to our normally gentle water. Good snorkeling and a tide pool are also found here. Walk to the north nearly a mile and treat yourself to brunch at the 5 Palms. ![]() Walk about 20 yards south on the beach and you'll come to the entrance of Wailea's famous ocean front walk. A favorite spot for morning walkers, this paved path wanders the length of Wailea for 1.5 miles between the ocean and the ocean front resorts. Many of the Hotels offer beach activities (ocean kayaking, surf board lessons, massages, etc) and wonderful restaurants. ![]() Our floorplan gives a good feel for the wonderful space and privacy this two bedroom, 2 bath condo with 3 lanais affords. Both baths are "en suite". |

This page is always under construction. I have a digital camera but it is hard to capture the feeling of the place as the sunshine doesn't lend itself to good color on interior fotos of our south Maui condo. Look at the floor plan to get a better feel of the flow. I am excited. Our second remodel is now complete and looks wonderful! - functions even better. I found the same tile we used in the master bath and a great granite for the kitchen counter tops. New cabinetry, appliances, fixtures, disappearing walls - maybe Frank won't be able to get me to leave.... | |

Comments from 20A's "guests":Many thanks for a wonderful week in your condo. You guys have done an absolutely terrific job!!! It is a real treat. We had a really relaxing time and felt very comfortable with all the little extra's that you added on. The redesigned master bedroom is lovely Book us for next year!!!!! Everything was just lovely when we arrived.....the welcome note with the protea were very much appreciated. Thank you for sharing and caring for such a beautiful home. Martyn; Davis, CA
We just want to thank you again for letting us rent your lovely condo... the nicest we've stayed in over several trips. We enjoyed looking through your photo album under the TV with all the changes you've made. We really enjoyed sitting out on the lanai off the living room. Such a beautiful view there. All those different types of birds sure are friendly! It was really nice having the beach such a short walk away and not having to drive... Marty & Dennis; Boise, Idaho
I can't say enough about the special spot you have created in the middle of paradise. The layout of 20A was perfect... with more ocean views than your web site lets on. The photos don't do justice to the quality of your furniture or decorating. A peaceful and beautiful spot. Your thoughtful touches and island information really helped make our trip. Mary Ann; Vail, CO
Just wanted to drop a note and thank you for our wonderful stay that we had in your Maui condo. It was absolutely beautiful. We could not have asked for a more relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We went there thinking it might be our only visit, but we are already talking about when we can go back. Your condo and the entire complex is absolutely breathtaking. Cindy; Livonia, MI
We wanted to let you know that we really loved staying in your Maui condo! It was like home. We especially appreciated all of the work you had done to make it special after viewing your photo album of before and after photos. We want to thank you for the use of your condo. The condo and grounds were beautiful, more than we even imagined! We took some of your suggestion's, and had a wonderfull time. A week is not enough time, It just flew by. We would like to rent your condo next year at the same time, But for 10 days this time.... Ron & Michelle; San Francisco, CA
We have been back from Maui for a few days and thought it was about time that we let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your condo. As former owners of rental property we could appreciate the time, effort, money and work that you have put into making the place comfortable for your guests. There were plenty of towels, silverware, glasses, sheets, etc. that as renters we are always concerned with. Carol's pet peeve is the lack of plastic containers that we usually find--but your place had plenty, including the larger ones for bread and other larger items. One thing that we don't usually get is advance information like you sent to us on some of the things to do and see. Most places just have something in the room to view after you get there.... Tom & Carol; Ann Arbor, MI
